SwapWebP (swapwebp.com) is a browser-based image-conversion tool that turns WebP
files into JPG, PNG, or BMP. Because conversion is handled locally in your browser,
we do not upload or store the images you process.
This Privacy Policy explains what limited information we collect,
how we use it and your choices regarding that data.
2. What data we do collect
- Basic usage metrics via Google Analytics 4 (page views, anonymised IP ranges).
- Consent signals for EEA/UK/CH visitors captured by our Google-certified Consent Management Platform (CMP).
- Server logs – standard web-server records (IP address, user-agent, timestamp) kept for ≤ 30 days for security.
3. Data we never collect
- Your original WebP images or converted files.
- Account details (no sign-up required).
- Precise geolocation or device identifiers.
4. Cookies & advertising
SwapWebP is funded by display ads served through Google AdSense. Google may set cookies or use device identifiers to deliver personalised or non-personalised ads, depending on the consent you give in our CMP banner.

5. Legal bases
- GDPR (EU/EEA, UK, CH) – Processing is based on legitimate interest (security logs) or consent (analytics & ads).
